My name is Gabby Zimmerman, and I am a results-driven professional with a strong passion for graphic design, marketing, and business. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Arts with a concentration in Graphic Design at Loyola Marymount University, where I have also completed coursework in marketing. I am well-versed in adobe suite / creative cloud (photoshop, indesign, illustrator), microsoft applications (excel, word, powerpoint), basic coding (sublime text), and canva. In an LMU coding class, I created this website from scratch using HTML and CSS.

Between April 2024 and April 2025, I function as the personal assistant, tech support and content creator for Dr. Arlene Barro, the creator, founder and CEO of Barro Global Inc. I edit Dr. Arlene's poems and transform them into visually engaging social media posts through thoughtful design and presentation. Frequently, I assist in tech projects such as podcast uploads or SEO research.

As a student peer mentor advisor, I am part of a new LMU program that assists students with class schedules, academic planning, and related guidance. Through this, I have gained invaluable leadership experience and deepened my ability to provide guidance and support to my peers. In this role, I also apply my graphic design expertise to create informational schedules of upcoming events around campus.

At the heart of my professional journey is a transformative London internship, where I navigated the dynamic business landscape of one of the world's leading financial hubs. At the Ben Uri Art Gallery, I learned how to operate in an office, manage paperwork, conduct extensive research work and create websites.

Being a member of the LMU service organization, “Creare,” has given me the opportunity to work with a diverse range of individuals, including colleagues, children, the elderly, and individuals with mental challenges. With a focus on child education, the organization emphasizes creating impactful learning experiences for young minds. Through this, I have developed strong team-work and communication skills.
